Dr Denise Guy
Denise is a child psychiatrist and pioneer in the field of infant and young children’s mental health. With Elisabeth Muir and Angela Stupples, Denise was part of the pilot project for the Watch, Wait, and Wonder® Intervention as researched (1999, 2001) and manualised (1999). She is a founding trustee of Incredible Families, which delivers programmes for parents and clinicians. From here she coordinates training in the WWW Intervention, which addresses problematic relationships between parents and their infants/young children. She is past president of the Infant Mental Health Association Aotearoa New Zealand (IMHAANZ) and in 2021 was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to infant mental health.

Rose Robinson
Rose Robinson is a Registered Psychotherapist and has worked in Community Health and Early Childhood educational settings for the past 25 years. Her clinical experience with Watch, Wait and Wonder began with Elisabeth Muir working together at the Champion Centre in an interdisciplinary team with infants born extremely prematurely and their parents. Rose became an accredited supervisor in the Watch, Wait, and Wonder® Intervention in 2010. She has clinical experience in Infant Mental Health and has worked with and been supervised by Elisabeth Muir for many years.

Marion Doherty
Marion is a registered Clinical Psychologist, the co-ordinator of Koanga Tupu (Infant Mental Health team – Kari Centre) and the Vice President of IMHAANZ (Infant Mental Health Association Aotearoa New Zealand). She has been working with children and their whānau at the Kari Centre for the past twenty years – specialising in work with infants/young children under 4yrs and their parents/caregivers for the past 13 years and supervises other infant mental health clinicians. Marion is accredited as an independent Watch, Wait and Wonder® practitioner. She is particularly interested in interventions, such as Watch, Wait and Wonder®, which support parents to “hold their child’s mind in their mind” – supporting shifts from rigid representations to a curious stance of reflection and wonder.

Meggan Lam
Meggan is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years clinical experience working with children. She has been involved with Infant Mental Health from 2008 and Maternal Mental Health from 2013. Meggan was accredited as an independent Watch, Wait and Wonder® practitioner in 2015 and has continued clinical use of the intervention since then. She is currently working at Counties Manukau DHB.

Sofia Galgut
Sofia Galgut is a registered Clinical Psychologist with expertise in perinatal mental health.
As a psychologist, she is dedicated to supporting families’ emotional well-being in all stages of the parenthood journey from pregnancy planning into the early years postpartum. Sofia’s experience comes from her many years in community mental health settings, working in both clinical and research capacities in two major public and private hospitals, at a university and in private practice.
Sofia works from a relational, attachment-based framework and keeps the family history closely in mind. She is especially passionate in assisting parents in fostering deeper understanding, connection and more joyful interactions with their infants and young children. The Watch Wait and Wonder® intervention has been invaluable in her work since her Introductory training in 2016. Sofia is an accredited Watch Wait and Wonder practitioner and currently works in perinatal specific private practice based in Victoria, Australia.
